On May 26th, 2023, Shuswap Band participated in our second annual salmon release at Dutch Creek. Community members and leaders from the Secwepemc, Ktunaxa, and Okanagan Nations were in attendance. River Voices Production created this beautiful video outlining the importance of the salmon reintroduction initiatives that the Shuswap Band and our partners are undertaking. We look forward to hosting many more salmon releases in the future, and seeing salmon back in the Columbia River in our lifetime.
